We Are Driving the future of Sustainable energy
Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) has announced a roadmap toward a carbon-neutral society, with the aim of halving greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by FY2030 and achieving “net zero” by 2050. This will be accomplished through portfolio replacement, procurement of renewable energy, fuel switching, industry transformation, and other measures. The integration of Energy Transformation (EX) and Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives is a key enabler in this roadmap.
DGA Australia
Australia’s abundant renewable energy resources make it an ideal location for green hydrogen (GH2) production. Additionally, Australia’s existing relationships with resource-constrained trading countries provide a competitive advantage to capitalize on GH2 export markets. As a result, Australia will be a key market to address the demands in East Asia as well as Japan and Korea, given its proximity to the region.
Under the MC EX initiative to expand renewable energy investment and explore GH2 production for its domestic use and exports, DGA has been assigned to focus on Australia. DGA has recently established its Australian operation via DGA Energy Solution Australia Pty Ltd. (DGA Australia), which is dedicated to investment in renewable energy and green hydrogen production for both domestic and export use cases. DGA’s goal is to play a significant role as a project developer and operator of renewable energy project and hydrogen production in Australia.
